6. Summary

Link capacitor design considerations when using the CS1601 are detailed in this application note. A design case

study and procedure are outlined. The results and performance are verified using the CDB1601-12W evaluation

board. The results above illustrate that a small capacitance can be selected for the link output voltage and that film

capacitors can be used to increase the life cycle of the component.
